My take from the outside
Daw no sign - no op
Daw sign - let's get an op, it'll stuff you next year so we'll give you 2 years
Maybe or maybe not but its something to think about

With the abundance of forwards we have (assuming Scott has faith in Tarrant) and our defensive weakness, I'd like to see Daw go back. The end of this season showed that if Thompson goes down (and Grima's body is a bit dodgy), we're really lacking on the last line. I'd like to see Thompson and Daw rotate on the key forward and see how the likes of Buddy, Roughy, Cloke, Kennedy and Reiwoldt(s) match with Daw's speed and strength and give Thompson a break.

No chance this will happen. Daw would leak too many goals IMO.

Being groomed as Petrie's replacement. Or will replace Tarrant if the spudiness continues.

At first glance I thought no way. But it's not the worst idea.

I'd keep persisting with him rotating between the ruck and FF for another season but if he isn't coming along as well as he should, I think it would certainly be an idea to try him at CHB.

o_O

Thompson, Grima and Hansen are an elite trio. I believe it's our greatest strength.

Maybe not, but it is damn close to it!

Probably playing Boomer in the ruck would have it's measure, but only just.....

Ahhh, someone with an open mind. Daw is far from proven as a forward. If he dosn't work out tell me we waste all that development and not try this ?
