That is his ideal role, unless he is in excellent shape it won't be in the AFL side though.

Delighted to still have him on the list. All we can hope for now is that he puts in the biggest pre-season of his life and continually pushes for senior selection. Whether it be at AFL level or in the reserves, play him down back as the third tall interceptor similar to Lever and watch him flourish. As tempting as it may be to throw him forward at times, give him that set position, give him a specified role, let him read the play and watch him come into his own.

Ultimately, I think we're going to see a huge improvement from Francis this year.
