That was one of his more complete games. While he dominated the centre square and stoppages, he also seemed to get us out of defence a few times, took some uncontested marks around the ground, and had some really good inside 50s.

He looks the leanest he has been since he has arrived at the club but still got the strength and he looks to have got a bit of speed in him aswell.

There was a handball late in the last quarter that was unbelievable. I don't have much more help other can it was on the edge of the defensive 50 after a center break (after one of our goals, i think it was the Jacobs or first Harvey one). Please help me out giantroo
I've found two handballs in the last qtr. 4:34 on the clock and the other on 0:19 on the clock. Didn't find anything else.

@0.32 secs.

Just wow
Yep, was going to post the same thing. Hits the contest hard, gives his opponent the don't argue, then grabs the ball and gives a lightning over the top handball to an open team mate, starting an attack for us.

Did that sort of thing several times last night but never as good as this moment. I can't believe the footballing public don't talk him up more. He's amazing.

Ziebell should be used forward a bit more. Would be an extremely hard match up.

This.

I'm a big fan of Jack but I don't see him as a modern day midfielder. I get the broken legs and all but tank and pace just that 1-2% off. The guy could be a seriously good forward!

Just taking the piss here but did occur to me during the game.

We all know the theory about Goldy not playing well with another ruckman in the side, we'll leave that to one of the million threads dedicated to it.

But is it just me or does Cunners thrive when Jack isn't in the side?
It was his turn to stand up. He would have been pepped before the game regarding the importance of him standing up in the absence of Zeibel. He stood up.
Its called development when boys turn into men.
Made us all proud.

our two premium midfield rotation should be:

group 1:

cunnington/Greenwood/Dal Santo

group 2:

swallow/ziebell/wells

perfect balance.between clearance ability and run. These centre square combinations complement.each other perfectly.

not an unreal estimation of benten.
this kid was a born leader and showed it from the age of about 9/10.
just the ticket needed for his big game.
i can imagine scott"you have to carry the mids today"
ben,"no wuckers mate leave it to me"
he has thrived on this sort of game since he was a kid,at basketball we would go to major cities such as bendigo, horsham, shepparton and etc.we were never going to defeat such teams, but nobody told ben that.
he just carried the team with his leadership and never give up qualities.we knew he would do his best work when the chips were down.
its just ben, simple and easy to remember, its just BEN.

How about that overhead mark on the wing, going back with the flight in the dying minutes? Saved the game I thought.
