I thought the centre bounce setup of Levi, Ben and Dal was the best Ive seen all year.
Levi for grunt, Cunners for in and outside work and then NDS as the sweeper.
I was shattered when that changed and Boomer went in there ;)

This.

I'm a big fan of Jack but I don't see him as a modern day midfielder. I get the broken legs and all but tank and pace just that 1-2% off. The guy could be a seriously good forward!

Do you see him as a Stevie J type? Forward and midfield?

I don't think it is a matter of Cunners 'stepping up' at all or that he 'stands out more'.

For mine it is far more to do with the fact that Cunners and co get a better opportunity to show that what they are capable of when Jack isn't playing.

Cunners is much cleaner in tight and does not play the way JZ does, nor lose his feet so often, etc. They really shouldn't be compared as like for like some posters seem to.

As much as I admire Jack's uncompromising attack on the footy and obviously he is a key player going forward, it regularly doesn't allow our cleaner players in traffic to get hold of the footy and set up play.

For mine we have Cunners and Swallow as our extractors who are both excellent in close, Levi chipping in and Jack can play a utility style role as a mid as part of the rotation yes, but also get him into dangerous positions on the field to use his foot skills and strength in a one on one contest where he will create a difficult match up.

Ben has always been prepared to hang onto the footy until he finds an option. This gets him into trouble at times but makes him look like a genius on other occasions. I for one have always been willing to cut him some slack - as long as he pretends really hard to get rid of it when he gets caught.

Jack on the other hand is a get it and kick it man. I've always thought he should take an extra split second to weigh up his options, but I love him either way.
