He did do stuff like that, but I reckon Fletch also understood when to commit a professional foul. He'd do it if it meant the defence could reset or to instead put the pressure on through a set shot at goal instead of allowing someone to run in to an open goal. He played to the edge of the rules. Loved Fletch. Just a smart and gritty player.

Another nothing game with 11 possessions and a flukey soccer goal. 29 games in and still avgs about 10 possessions a game and not even a goal. Under 50 Fantasty points - which below avg. He’s the equivalent to our Maurice Rioli - at least we’re honest

Really happy with how he’s going, ground ball weapon, super constructive with ball in hand, want him both kicking the ball inside 50 and receiving it.

He is a Lone Ranger in a side that today almost broke their club record for least inside 50s.

I’ll be sure to post a bizarre, opposition board driveby on someone like Josh Smilie some time in 2038 if he can ever actually get on the deck.
