I really don't think we can afford to have another really awful season on-field. Yep you pick-up great draft picks, but it makes it less likely the ones you have will stay. We have some great kids who were used to winning before they came to us and just as we hate to lose so do they.

We have some important player contracts coming up and I don't want to see players leaving because thay are sick of losing.

C’mon, really, what's it like being 'Yesterday's Man'?

To be honest I am really enjoying it, there just hasn’t been as much hype and media attention this year with everyone concentrating on the new recruits. But I still don’t think Gibbsy has done as much as I had to this stage last year, I might have to get on the boys about that.

Who's your pick of this year's recruiting crop - and will anyone
surprise us?

Apart from Gibbsy I would have to say Joey Anderson - he’s got very good skills, doesn’t seem to be fazed by anything and he’s confident and composed.

Well said by Murph, especially the part where he was happy to give Bryce his time in the sun after being #1 pick, they both definately understand that they are the future of the club (with others aswell), but it will be their drive from the midfield that wins us matches. I hope they don't get caught up in trying to out-do each other, though a bit of friendly competition is alright, if it goes over the top, it's when they will be in some trouble.
