Opinion 10 most disliked (hated) current AFL players

Alright, so i saw this on the Hawthorn board......i know, list the 10 current AFL players you dislike the most and maybe give a brief description as to why.

I'm fairly new to the forums so if i have crossed any sort of forum guidelines rules etc please let me know,

figured i would start us off:

1) Paddy Ryder - Essendon , ever since our game against them last year when he sniped Luke off in the first quarter i can't help but hope this clown has a very short AFL career.

2) Boomer Harvey - Nm, Whining little sook, can't stand him.

3) Brian Lake - Hawthorn, Another sniping ass clown, his sneaky little elbow to Walters face in the GF put him in the list and i can't help but hope he gets given a long holiday for his actions on Friday.

4) Jack Darling - WCE, his bobble head just frustrates me...

5) Lindsay Thomas - NM, Filthy player, don't enjoy his work.

6) Adam Goodes - Syd, reasonable player but the fact he is so protected frustrates me beyond belief, the guy can't do anything wrong, and only needs to point a finger at a 14 year old girl to get Australian of the year.

7) The Selwood mob, not bad players but the constant drawing for free kicks is a blight on the game.

8) Nick Maxwell - Coll, him and Eddie need to just cut all ties to the game, they are ruining it.

9) Stevie J - Geelong, Entitled little knob, got a bag of tricks but is a dirty player and sooks almost as much as Boomer.

10) Lance Franklin - Syd, again, another fantastic player, but now he is with Syd and virtually untouchable i can't stand watching him play.

Clearly not a problem for us, but it seems most of the non-Fremantle supporters don't hold our Ballas in very high regard. When I was at the MCG against Hawthorn earlier this year, they were booing eveything he did. It was a little confusing though, because every time their own Luke Breust went near the ball, they all yell "Brew" and it sounds very close to " Boo".

Yeah, sort of same. I like watching him play alright - but can't stand the fact that he got to Sydney on that stupid deal. So player is alright with me, but his name tarnished. To a lesser degree, I feel the same about Tippett.

interesting list there man, not disagreeing with you as its all a matter of opinion but I'm just curious as to what it is about Jamie Elliot you don't like? he is a player who i personally rate quite highly, and if we didn't already have the best small forward duo in the comp, i wouldn't mind having him on the team.

I think they're the only players in the league I really can't stand. So just the 4 biggest cheats from the eagles, the serial sook, and the serial killer.

Puopolo is rapidly climbing with his antics too though, and Scarlett would have made the list if he hadn't retired. Hird and Malthouse from the coaches ranks.

In no particular order:

Chris Judd: Talented player, tainted his reputation with dog acts. Elbows, pressure points, chicken wings. Disgusting behaviour.
Harry O/L: Yes, you may be more socially aware than your footballing brethren however that only makes you marginally more informed than your average 15 year old. Cut the enlightened bullshit and focus on actually hitting a target.
Michael Hurley: Shocking haircut, such an average player in spite of the hype. Can't forget that act of thuggery with a taxi driver too.
Joel Selwood: Quack, Quack, Quack.
Brian Lake: Dirty sniper. Genuinely think he could be a sociopath.
Puopolo: If it looks like a duck, it swims like a duck and it quacks like a duck. Limited player fortunate enough to be in a quality team.
Lindsay Thomas: Self-explantory. Should consider an acting career post-football.
Brent Harvey: Ask Ryan Crowley.
Vickery: Just seems like an absolute tool. See: mocking Barlow's walk/waddle a few years back.
Shuey: Has become a parody of himself. Have to laugh at Eagles fans outrage when Heppell won the RS over this guy. Heppell has come on in leaps and bounds whereas Shuey has been found out big time.

It's probably not Buddy but more the system, deal and COLA people dislike.

Same for Judd, where it is more the protection the receives from the MRP and how easily he gets those 3 votes from the umpires...

Well, I actually like a lot of players people like to dislike. Think they add flavour to the game. Still both North player, Harvey and Thomas, are the first to come to my mind. And Jobe "don't know what it is, but I take that injection anyway" Watson...

Used to dislike Goodes as well, but he has stopped his complaining to umpires permanently in recent years. Couldn't hear what he said but had an really annoying body language each time a decision didn't go his teams way...

I'm not sure I could think of 10, but players that jump out to me:

Boomer Harvey - never really a fan, but ever since pinch-gate, I just can't stand the snivelling worm.

Cox - only the latest version, the constant complaining and flaying of arms, annoys me.

Selwood - bit of a love hate with the Geelong variety, because he's and awesome player, but that constant ducking ... argh, shits me no end.

Shuey - as above, but without the 'love' bit ... quack quack.


And a couple of controversial ones:

C. Rioli - it's not his fault, but so many commentators, well Bruce in particular so maybe it should be a Rioli-Bruce combo - he just has an instant orgasms whenever he's even on screen. Rioli's got talent, not saying he's not a great player, but even when he does jack squat for a whole game, he gets a flashy touch and suddenly he's the BOG.

Wingard - because he is so bloody good and it just looks like it comes so easily, and he put us away earlier in the year in typical for him fashion. Completely based on jealousy here.

H - maybe because i don't like their bandwagon supporters, i don't like gunston (great kick in a great team, but can he take a contested mark? paul poopolo just an annoying little shite)
M - ok
NM - firito the corn chip, if i have to find someone, wait boomer pinchy, the little sook. their coach also seems a sook.
PP - don't like polec who looks like rocky dennis
R - their culture, cotchin - an awesome dream team player, but a slightly better than average player. Martin the one I would take from them
S - don't like McGlynn & Malcevski
SK - Nick the alpaca Riewoldt - not a valid reason. he really is ok, I just feel that he is so over rated
wc - name the player I don't hate instead. maybe nicnat the Fijian highjumper. i feel sorry for j Kennedy. ditto Shepherd who was a Freo supporter. the others are tainted & tainting. haha
