Its not a PUMA …..
Nike quality is for the tip ….. the swoosh can go. Been nothing great about Nike for years.
I would have been happy with ASICS too. Make some really good quality stuff especially in football boots.

ILTCFC, well done on your mail! Always great with this info and were spot on a while ago. Well done and welcome to the family, Puma! It was them or Adidas I was hoping for. I am a big fan of Nike but they have dropped the ball completely the past few years and seemed to have been wanting to get out of the AFL market. They've served us well though for such a long time. Hope they step up to the plate with better quality off-field/on-field gear to buy, and looking at Richmond's stuff I think they will. Such a long term deal that is lucrative for the club is also fantastic.

That's a great result. From the worst to the best. Nike don't even have a raised monogram anymore, they checked out a few years ago.

I honestly don’t know how to react to this news. I imagine it’s financially lucrative and it’s certainly long term. Apart from that?

I’ll miss Nike’s iron on sponsor panels that seem to always come loose mid game.
I wonder if we our uniform might even change to a different shade of navy blue (perhaps slightly lighter) given what Puma were able to do with Richmond’s colours.

Been a Puma man during my playing days, so happy with this and the 10 mil isn’t too bad either. Hope to see a successful partnership.
Astute timing by Puma , reckon they get a real bang for their buck with Carlton in the coming decade
Yeh, have to think they're "buying low" and aiming to reap the benefits when Carlton are all prime-time all the time.
