Hes probably heard it all before. Nothing like some gronk with a XXXXL footy jumper stretched over a vast gut leaning over the fence and yelling at an elite athlete that they play like a girl.Do you reckon he would find it insulting if we said it to his face? I reckon he needs to hear it.
HahahahHes probably heard it all before. Nothing like some gronk with a XXXXL footy jumper stretched over a vast gut leaning over the fence and yelling at an elite athlete that they play like a girl.
Not good. Surprised if he plays again this year. High ankle/syndesmosis maybe.Home late. Saw none of the game.
How bad did Zaka’s ankle look?
Unfortunate. Was actually playing okay last night. All the best Zaka.
On paper he should be gone, but it aint so simple. He is genuinly liked amongst the playing group and sets a standard on how to train and behave. (but not necessarily on how we want to play). What is more important....to keep a level of happiness and justice within the playing group or to remove that concept and get what we can get for him, ignoring the human cost? We have have experienced this problem before with Blumfield, Hardwick, Caracella and a few more that ripped the heart out of the club at the time. (Salary cap issues) Would Zaka be the type like a Myers/Baguley/Dea/Hocking type to play reserves and only be called upon due injury? I don't think he would, but i most likely would be wrong.
Disappointing for it to happen on the eve of finals for himSyndesmosis. I doubt he'll play again this year. Surgery coming up

Another midfield rotation lost and one of our most experienced players.
But it opens up a spot for someone else to get some experience in two enormous games which is good going forward.
yeah but with Crow gone now, Zaka should be sweetIsn't that what we woefully mismanaged Gleeson with last year?
Gleeson wasn't a syndesmosis injury and I don't think it was mismanaged either was it? Like it wasn't reinjured or anything it was just a really severe injury to begin with.Isn't that what we woefully mismanaged Gleeson with last year?
Gleeson had a fractured talus, and a very significant injury for a footballer. His recovery was long, but his current form and condition demonstrates it was managed very well. The only thing they botched was their initial prediction on the timeline.Isn't that what we woefully mismanaged Gleeson with last year?
Veteran David Zaharakis (syndesmosis) also required surgery in late August and is expected to begin pre-season with the main group.
just because he required surgery doesn’t mean he had surgeryShould be back in time for pre-season training.
Injury update: Post-season
A host of Bombers are set to undergo post-season surgery.www.essendonfc.com.au
Funny thing, because I could've sworn he might've been back if we went deep enough into finals...
