Stanton was an absolute gun gut runner, despite hitting the darts harder than a pub.
Zaharakis was good, but the game has gone past him due to his lack of defensive pressure.
Zaharakis will be a coach, he's a great leader of men.
I love zaka ..but yes he’s cooked.

and yes...Stanton was a gold star gut runner. Good at running into space away from violence

I'd say it's virtually impossible to be an underwhelming 200 game player

The 2 can't go together.

Although agree the term underwhelming is an opinion not a fact so it's subjective.

The sport is too cut throat to keep anyone for over 200 games (a decade) if they didn't offer something

In the nicest way possible, this bloke is dead money. He's our Luol Deng.

The last couple days I've been thinking about our list going forward and the changes that need to be made to turn us into a hard, contested team. Zaka, as loyal as a club member as he's been, hasn't even crossed my mind once.

Needs to be sat down and offered 250k as a payout and tell him he'll only be playing scratch matches next year if he stays on.

Anzac Day 2009 was 11 years ago - thanks David time to move on
“Yeah I think I’ll stay on my contract which is probably worth double that”

And now you have an angry and disengaged player around the group for 12 months.

Well managed 👍
