Our percentage is a damning stat. Consistent again today we tracked at about 50% of Oppo. Were actually tracking at 25 percent in first quarter!

Edit, make it 40% for the day....

From the autopsy thread. It's the game plan.

There's a reason the game plan was questioned. When we bring it fast through the corridor, as per the game plan, Nobles' defensive press hamstrings our movement.

Port turn it over, we break fast through the corridor.

Larkey has no one ahead of the footy. So he kicks to Ziebell on the wing (bottom of screen) who holds play up so Larkey can get down there. No time to hook lead so a fast break results in Ziebell bombing it to Larkey in the F50.

why do we have so few (almost zero) players who can kick a goal from more than 40m out? Am I right in thinking we are an absolute outlier for that, and it’s a big part of our woes? For a team with very limited ‘kick it long to … ‘ options, it would be ideal to be able to chip it around to the 50 mark and have someone who can get the journey. Hall was the option when he was fit, but without him McDonald and ziebel seem like the only ones who could go the distance (but likely kick it into the behind post). Stop skipping leg day boys!
