Yes

I really hope its not but got a bad feeling about the way he was holding his head

Yep saw that on the replay.
First instinct he grabbed his head, hopefully to draw a free kick.
20 secs later he was holding his ribs

The club will know quick smart on the outcome

Trainor needs to cool his jets a little.

Normally all good, but these days concussion and the broader schemes of things he is only starting, we are not in a GF yet so get excited with Sanmy Lalor but no need to be stopped by white line fever in an incident yet. Trainor can motivate our teammates but remember there are risks to respect and we want him healthy and player all the time if we can.

Rather he breaks Crisps record than making misjudgements and going in far too hard

no concussions if at all possible please!

If Trainor plays forward more likely he gets a head knock from a defender, that is the situational reality

He's been phenomenal so far. We're so lucky those concussion concerns scared several teams off as he looks well on his way to a 300 game champion. Needs a rest in the magoos for a couple of weeks to dominate as his last few weeks he's looking tired and dropping off. Wouldn't hurt as we don't need to overcook him.
Give the kid a couple of weeks with no games and just refresh
He is young and played every game he also has no concern for his safety the way he plays
Just rest this kid

Agree, no VFL, just a week off altogether.

No issue with a rest if needed but felt that he’s been shifted around forward and then more wing when Kaleb Smith has played in his more natural backline position.

Not sure if it’s tiredness or if it’s being moved around the last few weeks.
I like the idea of turning him into a winger long term.

We have so many backs right now, but a tall, silky (which he can be) winger than can get a mismatch up forward and chop out down back would be nice.

We don’t have a spot for him in the team at the moment. I’d give him a rest and then send him to the VFL for a bit to work on his craft as a defender.

Not that there is anything wrong with this, but I reckon he has the lowest ceiling of our draftees.

I think he will be a very good key position defender in time. Needs the body to fill out but reads the ball well when behind the play and has all the skills which will make him a long term asset. As to what his ceiling is who knows. We've done him no favours throwing him around and he has been poor for the last three weeks and agree with others that he looks like he needs a spell.

What's your rationale for this? Curious.

Personally I think his footy IQ, versatility, and ability to take the game on gives him a high ceiling. But it's too early to make a call relative to the other KPPs.

More about the others than Luke. Obviously Lalor will be something special. I reckon our 3 KPFs have shown they can be A grade forwards. Can’t really rate the other 3 as they haven’t played but I have Luke behind Lalor, Sims, Faull and Harry in potential

I think so far Trainor has shown to be more comfortable at the level than any of them, granted he plays back and has an easier role but this kid looks a beauty. Lets just hope the KPFs develop nicely and he can stay back.

I would say Trainor's ceiling is the highest and has easily been the pick of the first-year players.
He's going to be a rock in defence for years to come and those blokes don't grow on trees.
Class midfielders are a dime a dozen (maybe the defensive player in me coming out).

Started out so well first few games whilst in the backline but has been bounced around to wing and even forward past few weeks.
Started as sub and the is subbed out on Saturday- I sort of feel he is playing stressed and frustrated for the past couple of weeks.

I dont think he needs a rest. He's just being played out of position to accommodate others.

Need to keep pumping games into him, whatever the position.
Young kid played every game in his 1st year
Perfect timing to give him a 2 week break to freshen up and continue after the bye

But have you factored in that Faull, Armstrong and Sims are taller than Trainor and so naturally closer to the ceiling?
