Should be playing.
Not sure why he’s not playing in front of Broad, who is playing his final season in the Y&B.
Broady is a great clubman, but player development should be a priority.
And Broadys form has been sh!t.

Poor ball use with a very high clanger and turnover rate + losing 3 of his 5 defensive 1 v 1 contests is probably part of it.

Possibly not adhering to team structures as well. It is hard to know. He is young for a tall player. He seems to have some decent attributes, just a few areas to tidy up.

Yeah, same as OHB, they told him to tackle, and he still tackles like a girl, that's why he isn't playing. trainnor lost all confidence when Yze moved him from HB to wing and forward so he can accommodate his lovechilds. The kid was on fire till he done that.

Trainor in for Broad is the obvious choice, but that's not happening it seems so he has to wait another week. Not the first won't be the last.

Our backline is stable so not easy to break into, they might be giving Broad a game at home before having a spell for Trainor for all we know. The way we are falling like flies, he won't have to wait long.

Could argue that internally the club are desperate for a win to relieve the mounting pressure and feel that Shorts experience and steady hand (their view not mine) is better than an unpredictable/unreliable Trainor (again, looks to be their view, not mine).
If it was any other situation you'd think given our focus on youth and development we could save Shorty a cross country tip days after welcoming a child

Trainor to be ruled out on Tuesday for the season with Deep Vein Thrombisis after the flight home from Perth.
