This is my only concern with him .... has had an amazing start to his career for the position he plays for his age ....

has gone well, just needs to look out he does not get ahead of himself and plays for the long term because we want him around for years and years to come.

particularly while we are developing, makes no sense trying to run into trains

Loving him on the wing. A real point of difference as he improves but anyone else notice he looks a little slow? Could just be fitness, but his closing speed won’t stand up to playing KPB at AFL level IMO

Yeah I agree, was drafted as a KPP but many of us tried to tell everyone he isn’t great defensively but his pace is more my concern right now.

Talking about whether we’re looking at a true KP is the conversation isn’t it?
I don’t know how anyone is able to tell after 13 games whether a 19 year old, 195cm athletic competitive kid is going to be a KP or not?

He is the least of our problems. Just a first year player already showing composure beyond his years. Some people think these tall kids are ready to dominate but the reality is they need 3 or 4 preseasons to get the body strength and fitness to play 4 quarters of AFL footy.
Not concerned with his pace either. At 195cm, he is quick enough for a junior and as he gets more power in his legs, his closing speed will improve too.

100% he needs a spell. Kids like him need to feel or know the strife of being dropped. Adversity will make him a better player. Must happen
