I'm on Ladbrokes now.
It's a pommy betting agency that has been in Australia for only a few months.

They match your initial deposit up to $250 & if you refer a friend & they join you get $100 put into your account.

They grabbed my attention at the start of the Spring Carnival with double odds for all of the big races. I had Fawkner at 31-1 when it won the Caulfield Cup.

Most agencies do deals to get people on board though.

I noticed in the 'entertainment' section of betting you can bet on the next planet that human kind will step foot on. Surely Mars is a lock at $1.60.
Load up!
The sun is paying 500-1. Reckon that may be a stretch.

Yeah I use Sportsbet as well but they won't let you combine the Rising Star and Top 4.
I can bet on two games in Round 1 and make it a multi. But can't combine Top 4 + Rising Star... bastards
Get on Ladbrokes mate. I highly recommend it.

I will join now. How do I say you recommended me so you get the $100 bonus?

Gimme a sec & I'll find out.
We will go halves in a bet with the bonus $100 (like Roos to finish top 4 or something) & if it gets up we will go halves.

Is that Luke McDonald playing, or something else?
Luke McDonald winning the NAB Rising Star.

I still can't believe he's at 21-1.

Not just because I'm a NMFC supporter, but they are just such high odds for someone that probably would have gone top 5 in the draft had we not picked him up father son & who already has a year in the VFL under his belt & is currently doing his second AFL pre season (although the first was limited it would be a huge benefit this time round).

There are 11 blokes ahead of him in the betting.

For Silver to win the Rising Star Award he'll have to have a better season than Mullet did last year in his first year of AFL. I have no doubt he'll play some really good games and get nominated but I can't see him winning it.

I get what you mean, but mullet came in as a no name.... This is almost purely a popularity contest, similar to pro bowl or all star voting in America. I feel that we and our huge legion of fans can influence this vote..... And thus make us all rich beyond our wildest dreams hahahaha....

If it comes down to fan bases, Luke isn't winning.

Whoever Collingwood drafted (Scharenberg? foot injuries? Freeman) will win it.

Realistically, it will be Jack Martin. Then the field.

I respectfully disagree, granted I have yet to see Luke in an AFL game. However looking at the betting field there are zero names there that make me think it's over. We know the kid has poise, maturity, and a huge leg. Long goals (like Mullet's) and big moments will win the day. I believe that Luke has a huge shot because he will be playing for a team that has prime time spots, has the ability to win more games, and has the charisma and personality to shine and make believers out of the voters.

Martin has the RS in the bag. The hype is incredible.

It's laughable tbh, Daniel Wells was better at the same age.

The way they are hyping him, you'd think he was single digits for the brownlow.................

O'Meara is considerably better. Them basing it on his NEAFL form is ridiculous, EFL and VAFA Div 1 sides would annihilate alot of the sides in that competition, and he had the advantage of playing in a side of AFL footballers in it.

What would be our expectations be if the North reserves were playing in the EFL with McDonald in the side?........
