He’s determined. When all the hype about him as a junior was his kicking and his strength....it seems it’s actually his determination and ticker that set him apart. It’s why he survived so long as a defender because of his focus is on beating his opponent. It’s clear he’s more suited to the defensive midfield role.

Mystifying that it’s taken so long to catch up.. he should’ve been playing in the middle for years now, but we’ve been stuck because he’s better than all our flankers.

Knocked off 2 blokes who have a second Christmas playing against us. Makes you wonder why we played him in defense after he showed something in the midfield in 2016(?).
Old enough now to start finding himself and show why he went in the first round.

One of our few shining lights tonight.

Did chuckle at this.

How funny that some of the people in the comments are upset about it?

Softest club in the comp and supporters in the comp. Too soft to acknowledge their club greats doped their players and they’re sooking about this. Pathetic.

It's pretty funny.

Looks 100% better when he’s not required to move the ball out of deep defence and pick through an AFL zone with his tendency to shank some kicks.

I think he plays more on instinct further up the ground, he has less time to think, which probably benefits him.

He’s also quite strong through the tackle. When he’s in the midfield his first instinct is to break the tackle and create space. If he’s caught, the punishment is minor.

In the backline he‘s at odds with his first instinct because of the consequences of a shot on goal, he generally panics which leads to a rushed disposal or poor decision.
