How funny that some of the people in the comments are upset about it?

Looks 100% better when he’s not required to move the ball out of deep defence and pick through an AFL zone with his tendency to shank some kicks.

I think he plays more on instinct further up the ground, he has less time to think, which probably benefits him.

He’s also quite strong through the tackle. When he’s in the midfield his first instinct is to break the tackle and create space. If he’s caught, the punishment is minor.

In the backline he‘s at odds with his first instinct because of the consequences of a shot on goal, he generally panics which leads to a rushed disposal or poor decision.

We're watching a guy save his career. Played his best footy on a wing a few years back. I'm not sure having a tagger makes a lot of sense given where we' re at. But could teach a few of his older teammates a thing or two about applicafion.

There was a play in the middle of the ground where he received it, weaved and spun around a tackle and looked for options before pumping it inside 50. It was beautiful.

The biggest improvement this year. Calling it now.
