Carlton’s important intercept defender Mitch McGovern has signed a new two-year deal – with the trigger for a third year – that could see him remain at the Blues until the end of the 2026 season.
The deal is understood to be between $400,000-$500,000 per season, a huge reduction on the deal he signed to come to Carlton from Adelaide in late 2018.

Not with O'Brien coming out of contract in 2024!Mitch McGovern is on about $800,000 on this contract? That is a decent saving and it should help the club maybe target an upcoming FA.
