Weird win defensively so poor at times but kicked accurately enough to get the win.

McClean 3.0 from his shots is just what he has to do Lloyd was good as well.

Grundy again was superhuman for 3 quarters, Errol really just picked up where he left off pre injury.

Effort was there all game, probably only our own inability at times to defend if they get past the centre kept it close.

McLean played in front and got rewarded.

Roberts should just play 2s, Papley went off , but thought our forward pressure lifted after he went off, too busy carrying on like a dick.


Solid from the star 3 without being dominant, Gulden overall good.


Hamling played a really good game, as did Lloyd

Grundy was tired at the end but arguably BOG

Errol wasn’t that good. His mistakes directly led to a few of their goals. He’s definitely still a bit rusty.

Lloyd looks to be back, thought he was brilliant. Composed and used it very well when we were under the pump, credit to him has now found a patch of form.

We defended fairly well at ground level but time and time again were too easy to move the ball against. Tackling pressure was fantastic, one of the key reasons for the win.

Jordon fantastic too, shutting out Serong and hurting the other way.

Wilbur after his finger was good too, Heeney classy as needed, Warner did some ok things, Jmac, wicks mills had moments, Melican, Mccartin, Cunningham.

Not entirely convincing, but a win against a team battling for a finals spot.

Saints don't have the greatest set of talls so I'd probably bring Dattoli and Cleary in for Papley and Amartey. But if we do bring in a tall, Ladhams to help manage Grundy, and maybe Roberts out to bring in both Dattoli and Cleary anyway.

Blakeys good stuff is exciting, but he still does some baffling lazy shit at times, Roberts just looks lost mostly and Paps was a parody of himself before he got hurt doing a shit kick
