Beatson rightfully gets shit for his first round picks - after all, the more talented players tend to be available then, and are often the ones who go on to win B&F's and Brownlows - but you couldn't possibly give him shit for the value we have got from his 3rd/4th round and rookie selections. It's a pretty stunning record in that respect.
What im saying is he rarely gets credit around here for those 3rd/4th round picks and rookies.

Yep, the only 3 small forwards in the league to have those numbers are Brandon Matera, Toby Greene, and Robbie Gray. Tom may reach that level if he continues to improve
One of these is not like the others...

Tom Papley is so valuable to us.
He kicked the winning goal for us last night
As a small forward he is always around and pestering and looking dangerous
I wasn't surprised to see him high on this particular stat sheet

To bad the stats don't offer credit to franklin, who taped on 2 ball onto crumbering players that resulted in two very handy goals.

Papley has been massive, will be targeted by a few club I reckon.

Happily one of those clubs is not the now defunct Moorabbin FC, where from memory grandad Max returned to.
