Interesting move going with KB & Dr Turf, given that it didn't end well on 927 when they first joined forces.
Cannot listen to more than 10 minutes a day. I think they are running the same gags as when they were at 927.

Interesting the sponsors they attract though - had not heard aged care advertised at any other time than during their show! Says it all really.

On a side note - have to laugh every time I hear Mark Allen encouraging sperm donations. Pun and spelling intended, he must wonder what his radio career has come to.....

Well tbf any shift he did on TRH as a full time presenter was probably one more than he was qualified to do.

The Australian Open show they've got on now is great. SEN needs more of this. OBs live from sports events with commentary/discussion hosted by people who know what they're talking about. BP is a gun. Relevant radio.
BP is very very very good.
Great knowledge.
Presents well.

That's the difference.
No, silly extra hype.

That Australian open show 7pm-8pm hosted by BP , has been on every weeknight of the Australian open 2 weeks for at least the last 10 years

Granland gone. That's a step too far.

For all the whinging, bitching and moaning we do on this thread with our variety of opinions and subjectivity, Granland was objectively good. He's probably in the top five for radio footy commentators. Hutchison is mental for letting him go.

ABC have their new front man.

Matt Granland gone too.

No more calling.

Not many left.

Thought he called well.

I guess with Whately and teaming with hudson then grandland was not required.
That's a shame. Even if he wasn't doing Friday nights I thought Hutchy would keep him around considering how games AFL Nation call a weekend. Very slick as a fill in host as well.

Bedford is a bit quiet today

Hutchy hasn't boned Bedford has he ?
Some of us have to work. Not happy about MG, but in general most that don't listen to sen, so he's not going to attract new listeners.
It's interesting how you post the same stuff in both threads, just shows how dumb it is to have both.

Be interesting to see what Hutchys long game is with all these changes.

At the moment, all he seems to be doing is alienating current listeners and not doing a great deal to bring in new audiences...unless you think taking on Whateley will bring more listeners across.

I mainly listen when I'm driving, which is during the day for work.

Tolerated breakfast, like KB but have often changed stations on him when Smith/Denham/Ralph/Waldron/rules and jumper clash crusade became too much. Gave up on Maher, tolerated Leach (just). Was home before Marko and the Ox, didn't mind them when I wasn't. Didn't mind Fine when I caught him, but never went out of the way to listen apart from The World of Football. Didn't like it when Finey filled in for KB, the jumper numbers and 70's footy cards stuff is okay for late nights, need something more dynamic in the morning. Like Turfy, and enjoyed RoCo and Kevin Hillier in the fill-in roles.

Mornings are better this year, but will probably go back to Harf. Will give Whateley a go. Maher can FRO. Like KB and Turfy, but ain't gonna go out of my way to listen to them.

Have enjoyed a lot of the in studio, hour long stuff with players/athletes recently. So much better than on the phone (can you step to the right FFS) 10 minute wraparound spots. Not enjoying the increasing repetition (Belichek is the new Mal Meninga politics), and trying to have Cornes and Blight forced on us.

And while they may have been shafted, giving Kevin Petersen a serve this morning was rather unprofessional. Is the station all about politics, rivalries, settling scores etc now?
