i wonder if he thinks the Honus Wagner baseball cards should be free. One sold this year for 6.6 million.
If anyone who cares why, it's basically because it's one of the most rare. Back in the old days, baseball cards were made by cigarette companies. Wagner didn't want his likeness associated with ciggies, so he told them to stop, but that was after about 50 cards were made.
Rare Honus Wagner baseball card sells for record $6.6 million at auction
A Honus Wagner baseball card, the most famous and among the rarest sports trading cards in the world, sold at auction Monday morning for a record $6.6 million. That blew away the previous record — a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card, which auctioned earlier this year for $5.2 million.edition.cnn.com
Mate, Chris thinks Honus Wagner plays for the Casey Scorps, and that as a ‘man’ who pours a lot of coin into the club, he and his chums who sit together each week after putting their pullovers on seats in the MCC to reserve them 4 hours before the bounce, all agree that Goodwin should be on notice. Because if Honus Wagner was in they would’ve won by 120, and he also wants you to know that if Leigh ‘Juice’ Newton played instead of Jackson and if Michael ‘Juice’ Newton player instead of Fritsch, who was a good player at Casey but has been no good since, it would’ve been 160, and it’s just not good enough and I’m going to raise it at the AGM also Dwayne do me a favour and tell me how many hardball gets Paul Hopgood had in 1996 I think that Clayton Oliver could learn a thing or two off him Dwayne why can we not produce teams as good as we had in the 1990s under Northey, Balme and Daniher you know me and my friends in the fuschias coterie think those sides would have won by 240 can you tell me why we aren’t still called the fuschias Dwayne I need to know please tell me when I call tomorrow
