I’d drop Turner and bring in Walker to play the role Simpkin has been playing.
Id drop Turner and bring in Walker to play that role and have Simpkin swap with Rat. That puts less pressure on Walker and provides Simpkin with space in which to operate off half forward. Rat off a wing.

This kid got a massive brain.
We'll see his improvement every single year.
So exciting.

Nice mark and goal at one point. But in his second year, in a winning team, who kept the ball in their own attacking half for most of the match, is 18 disposals and a goal anything to write home about? Let's be honest with ourselves.

Yeah I don't think anybody is wtiting home about today and are just pleased he had a better game and looked like the exciting kid with the dancing feet once again.

Was very good inside today. Prefer to see today’s efforts regularly than the odd flashy bit of play.

If he’s getting involved inside, the outside cream will come.

Compared to the previous 6 weeks, it was a very noticeable improvement, even in the physically imposing sense and working positions on the ground. I noticed Jy today, he was AWOL on all those other weeks.

if all you saw today was 18 disposals and a goal its time to treat yourself to the replay

start with the 8 tackles and the influence he has around the contest. theres a bit of jed anderson about him the way he influences the game without necesarily the stats sheet. set up many scores as well. at least 3 direct assists off the top of my head.

This is a guy who missed great chunk of footy in his draft year. The fact he played seniors last season shows us how good he can be. Needs a preseason or 2 to build up his tank and then watch out.
