That goal of the year by LT is something we can hang our cat on regardless of whether we win the flag or not this year. My mates reckon its a ripper - cant wait to see it.
Amazing goal. Absolutely sensational. When you do see it just take note of how far out he is.

His form is phenomenal right now, he hits the contest as hard as anyone at our club and is our barometer. Am really happy for him, he seemed to go through hell last year.

I know I will cop crap for this, and the only reason I mention it is because I want him to stop doing it so people focus on the positives of his game.....but that 50 he received in the last, he deadset took a dive. He took the mark, felt a hand on his back, was about to plant his left foot but pulled it and went to ground. Was really obvious on the slow-mo replay.

I just want him to stop this crap because his career doesn't need to be tainted by it, Harvey still cops it for shit he did 7 or 8 years ago. LT just doesn't need to do it, he's not desparate to kick a goal and keep his place in the size anymore, he should back his skill.

And I'm Thomas-ist, nor am I an alias of mav.

LT putting the wind up the opposition. ******* love it Lindsay. Who cares he didn't go hard that one time, game was won. I saw LT do some pretty courageous things again tonight when the game had to be won so if he only squibs in junk time, I can live with that.

Can see where you're coming from but he does hard stuff more often than not (like he did tonight), no problem if he does that stuff when games are in the bag. Has the balance right. Definitely learnt from his 2nd half last week.

I love the new Lindsay.

I must admit I've been a doubter in the past. I'm now convinced he can play. I've noticed in the past month or so that he hasn't been cheating by calling for the cheap ball over top or staging for frees all the time and that he's been able to keep his feet rather than go to ground.

At the game tonight I thought he was just OK. I must admit I was surprised when I checked the stats and saw that he kicked 3 goals from limited touches.

Small forwards like Lindsay are really on a hiding to nothing he only had 13 touches but was around the ball a bit tonight and could of had 5 goals if things had gone his way the Tarrant tap on to a free Thomas in the last Q comes to mind as just one example of when he was free or in a position to score and the ball just didn't bounce right.

Such is life for a small forward. Keep up the good work Lindsay

He is a gem. Sure he does stupid things but his output is unreal.
His goal was amazing.
What was second best about that goal (cos the actual goal was unbelievable) was that he was at the contest on the wing that Hansen won and then charged forward to make it to the next contest (Petrie's dive).
He ran his arse off to be in that position.

LT is an enigma. The indigenous Corey Jones. The Wild Child with a Smile. Capable of the freakish and the outright idiotic. Mav calls his marking attempt soft in the middle which we conceded a goal from yet he throws his body at the contest like a man possessed and gets a crimson badge of honour for it. The one thing about LT is that he keeps on fighting. Keeps bouncing back. Keeps on trying. That is the NMFC spirit. You have to admire that. :stern look

just saw the replay of LTs goal and noticed how much ground he covered to get to the contest, he was on the back flank when the kick went up.

as for the toy ball throwing incident i doubt there was anything intentional as it came from a pod of north fans, however prolly just a little bit ill thought.
