90% of the media want Thompson off because he's second favourite in the Brownlow betting. What sort of reason is that?
I want him to get off because it would be an absolute disgrace if he goes.

His team mate pushes Johnson into him, he sees him at the absolute last second and puts an arm up to protect himself. Unfortunately you can bet the MRP will play it in super slow mo (ie - Whitecross on Selwood) and determine he had alternative course of action.

My mail on that one is the turd Robertson ran up to Sam Wright later in the game and told him he'd get weeks due to how long Robertson deliberately stayed down on the ground. Personally, I think that's bullshit. Robertson's legs buckled like a no talent boxer. Weak as urine. The AFL world needs to know that Carlton has an institutionalised policy of trying to get opponents suspended.
Ah, so Blues hard man is actually a weak little dibber dobber. Cool.

As we can see in the footage, Lindsay pulled out a army grade knife, stabbed the demons player in the face, and pissed on his corpse. Judging by the current MRP ruling, that's a reprimand, maybe a week if they deem he wasn't going for the balls of the opponent.

Oh wait? Did he bump him while going for the ball?

FRACK OUT OF IT, THAT'S 12 WEEKS.

Should not be allowed to do so.

Makes things look so much worse.

My bet is it ends up like the Whitecross one. MRP cites him, goes to tribunal, Adelaide argue the speed of the incident (and the fact Johnson was pushed into Thompson's path) made a collision unavoidable, Thompson gets off, another nail in the MRP coffin.

Thompson cleared for Johnson clash.
ADELAIDE midfielder Scott Thompson has escaped sanction for his bump on Steve Johnson in the opening seconds of the Crows-Cats clash on Saturday.

Thompson appeared to receive a slight nudge from his opponent Joel Corey as he moved into Johnson's path before his shoulder struck Johnson's head.

Johnson left the ground and was subbed off midway through the quarter with concussion. He otherwise escaped serious damage.
