Or play Ridley off half back instead. The answer is playing in the back pocket.
McKenna should be kicking goals. Too creative to be in the back half.
McKenna forward, McGrath back, Baguley out.
Begley is on limited minutes in the VFL recovering from his ACL injury.

Who will be breaking lines and running down the wings then? Just Saad by himself?
It's the Essendon rule that if you do * all for the whole game, but manage to kick a goal you automatically stay in the side. Was cooked after 2016.
Only Essendon is capable of keeping around a player with such a low ceiling.
He actually plays with ice skates on and goes to ground every contest, is slow, gives away freekicks, cant mark, the list goes on and on.
Then, he is untouchable at the selection table.... I just don't get it...
All of Smith,Tippa, Fantasia and MCGrath can play this role when forward. Does it really require a specialist? The alternatives, excluding injuries, are Mitch Brown (196cm), James Stewart (198cm), Noah Gown (194cm), Jordan Houlahan (185cm), and Irving Mosquito (176cm). Which of those would you like to play as a defensive small forward? Alternatively you push someone like Smith forward and give Langford, D.Clarke, Mynott or Ham a run in the midfield. The midfield would be poorer for it though.
I really think he's keeping Laverde/Begley's seat warm and setting a benchmark that they have to hit to make that spot in the 22 their own.
6! I was posting this on the back of the two stupid ones that I actually saw.6 is too many for anyone.
Thanks for your efforts Bags but to the VFL please and thank you.

Needs to win 1v1 contests and make every post a winner because he should be right on the bubble on a week to week basis.
As much as I’m loathe to change a winning combination I think Laverde is the natural replacement given Baguley often finds himself as the closest man to goal and in deep one on one contests
Lav was fit to play in Round 1 and even performed well in the last round of last year, the fact Baguley got the gig over him anyway still mystifies meHe will be in trouble holding his spot when either Fridge or Laverde are fit to play. Starting to give away a lot of dumb free kicks.
Nearly proven. An old F100 maybe. This man could prove to be a good pick up.
