usually he's pretty lethargic, i was very surprised to see that chase down. been one of our better players tonight.

There was a game at the G last year against Carlton, not long after a return from injury, where he just couldn’t run. I think he tried to chase someone on the wing and he looked about 80 years old. He was out for the rest of the year and I thought he was cooked for good. At that point there was no way known I would have ever expected to see him with the athletic ability to run down a Max Holmes in the future.

Been advocating for Setters for a while - could not understand why he was playing VFL back end of last year - we always look better balanced when plays midfield for us.

Does a lot of things to a good, not great, level - he’s a well rounded footballer. Plus he’s big, physical and a good competitor. Should never be out of the team with the resources currently on the list.

I think he has earned an extra year, but maybe with a clause that triggers an extra year if he can play 18 games.

He might not be the most talented player in the team but he does everything that we want and expect to see from all of them. He is a big bodied mid who is a tackling machine that gives his all every week.
