Chris Yarran enjoyed a career-best season in 2014, finishing fourth in Carlton’s best and fairest to eclipse his previous best effort of 10th.
Boasting versatility, sublime speed, foot skills, evasiveness and a sense for goal, Yarran added consistency to his armoury in a 2014 season which saw him miss just one match and average 16 disposals a game.

Not possible considering we traded our future secound rounder, we cant trade another future pick now

i thought that only stood if it's a future 1st rounder traded? i could be wrong tho

We trade 2016 2nd round to get pick 19, so we can't then offer up our 2016 1st in another deal.

Our NEXT years second rounder for this year pick 19? Is that right? Surely that can't be correct. If so that would be a s**t trade for the GC. We must be giving up more than that. Is 19 all we need to give to get Yarran?

This years (31) and next years second rounder for 19

Pretty sure we got 19 for 31 + next year's 2nd round pick.

Presumably we ontrade that for Yarran
Confirmed on the age website, well done sir.

4:42pm: So Richmond have converted two first-round picks, 31 from this year and next year's second-rounder, for pick 19 this year. That's an interesting play - it now frees up a second late first-round selection, just the type they've been looking to give Carlton for Chris Yarran...

Richmond has finalised a deal with the Gold Coast Suns, which sees the Club acquire selection 19 in this year’s National Draft.

The Tigers have traded their second selection (currently 31), and a future second round selection to the Gold Coast, in exchange for the Suns’ end of first round selection (currently pick 19).

Richmond now holds selections 12, 19, 52, 88, 106 and 120 in National Draft, as the order currently stands.

Cheers. Sounded too good to be true. If I was Carlton I would rather the two second round picks rather than the extremely late 1st rounder. Their second round pick will almost be 19 this year anyway. Strange. Probably more to do with the fact that they said they wouldn't budge on trading Yarran for anything less than a 1st round pick more than the actual pick itself.:drunk:
