Sorry, you have absolutely no reason to assume that "ONLY" other than just coz.

Until he is seen running around in senior company it is nothing more than a great big slice of unrestrained optimism.
Never said "just coz". I've seen him in match sims, intra clubs and last week in VFL. Looks good to me

Walsh as well.

I think it's great that we now can develop players in the VFL with confidence. The connection is better and we have a good group of VFL players along with our improved list. To be able to put a player back to the VFL to work on things, develop, gain confidence before playing Seniors again is a major plus

We also don't need to rush players back from injury. Longer term injuries can come back via VFL

May be frustrating for some short term but in the longer term it will really benefit us
Agreed Walsh steal of the draft. Cant believe he fell to our pick.

I like to see stocker come in the ones soon. Hbf will be a interesting position for him in a terrible side. This will expose him or he will be great.

Strangely heard from one his of his previous Sandringham coaches that we couldn’t have picked a lazier junior. Literally despised training and was ridiculously unfit. Apparently Juddy had a lot of say in this call.

Anyway hope he’s wrong and wouldn’t be the first 18 yr old with below average work rate. Trust he will work it out.

I doubt it. Judd may have had an opinion, but if the board are starting to.............NO! That's not happening on SOS's watch.

We've had enough of McKay, Swann etc 'gently' influencing recruiters. Just won't happen in the same manner again.

It didn’t look like Judd knew much about stocker from the “behind the scenes” video which was released after the draft.

was told by one of his coaches he was lazy and hated training.
I don't see this as uncommon amongst teenagers. Walsh is the exception - and there weren't many of his ilk in the (loaded) draft.
Had Stocker held that then he could have possibly gone top 5 - 10.
He has a higher sense of purpose now and the environment won't allow for it I'm sure.

I doubt he's lazy tbh. Lazy guys don't seem to be the type Bolton likes to have on his list.

It would also be a farce if we traded maybe a no.1 pick for him if that were ther reality, SOS could almost be sacked for an oversight like that.

Everytime I’ve seen him at training he is working hard. Dropped a heap of weight and getting fitter all the time.

I don’t know if he was lazy last year but doesn’t seem the case now
