Some players have the ability to crash marking packs, split the contest open, and hurt the opposition. This player has the ability to crash contested ground ball packs and do likewise. That attack on the pack in second half did just that. It was on right on the edge of tunnelling, but not over it. Think he'll be a player that plays on the edge. Love it.

Doesn't mind going in hard, shows he wants the pill and disposal is promising. More games and I reckon he will come on quite quickly.

People keep saying he has "IT" and you can see why.

Mongrel, a competitive edge and good footy smarts/skills. These sorts of players tend to have a greater chance of succeeding IMO, with such a combination of attributes.

Some players choke on the big stage, this kid rose to the challenge when he wasn't physically ready.
That's all I needed to see.

His direct opponent was Collingwoods BOG. Brown was the difference, wouldn’t go too far just yet

Brown wasn’t best on ground. 21 touches at 70% and 2 goals. Grundy was collingwoods best on ground.

I’m a big fan, too. I loved how he shoved players a few times today and wasn’t afraid to stand up for his teammates.

He might move into the midfield later on in his career, but in him and Willo we definitely have a few kids coming through with a hard edge to them which is fantastic.

Has a bit of a Jordan Lewis / Sam Mitchell feel imo.

Yeah we hated those guys, but they are also the exact kind of players we'd love in our team.
Can see him being that tough player who also has that bit of arrogance and give a bit of lip.

I see a bit of Diesel Williams (not saying as good) or Buddha Hocking. Tough nuggety player with great skills on both sides. Very competitive and will find a lot of ball. He will be a beauty this kid

And more explosive pace!

But would take Lenny or diesel in a heartbeat.
