My colleagues have learnt I don't do any work during trade and draft periods....

Adelaide have the easiest draw, that will be a factor.Just a number. I actually think Adelaide are a 5-10th side meaning it won't be hard for the blues to win this trade. Wouldn't be surprised if your crows pick falls in the top ten.

That's just a factwe have the best team - there's another factor........
Unleash him on the Tigers in round one, they can check out his ability then.
Salty Ralphy!
That was my point!I'm sure that's no reflection on how excited our people are to get Walsh, just that it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. Plenty of quiet fist pumps when Sam finally became official, not much more to say. There had already been so much discussion about him over the preceding weeks.
Stocker stimulates more discussion because his arrival was so unexpected. SOS spins straw into gold, again!
Salty Ralphy!
Yeah, something about Stocker reminded me of a Melbourne player and I was floundering to work out who it was, I thought whoever it was went quite a bit further back. Maybe my theory of clubs attracting a particular head type is more than me being whimsicalObviously Im stoked with Walshy but something about this guy has me excited, reminds me of Jack Viney in more than one way.
Heres a to a long a fruitful career in the navy Stocker !

Collingwood certainly have had their share of ugly mugs over the years, for instance, and Geelong's had a thing for rangas.
That’s why when we vomit we’ve named it a “Ralph”.A complete flog.
Bitter and twisted still after Juddy shirt-fronted him.
How is this guy employed? Human manure.
Why would a journo make such a distasteful public comment about a young kid?Unleash him on the Tigers in round one, they can check out his ability then.
Might be good motivation for the kid, has already had an impact by him doing extra work. Why would a journo make such a distasteful public comment about a young kid?
Silly IMO
I get the feeling that kind of shite will only motivate this kid; he seems to have that "ill show you" type of character.Typical hack journalism.
Here's what Ralph offers by way of "facts":
- Stocker found Richmond's interview question confronting.
- Richmond challenged him on his defensive run.
- Stocker responded by doing a mini preseason and pushing himself to work harder.
Cool. That sounds really good to me. Young player maybe not doing enough defensively, or maybe its a tactic of Richmond recruiters to see how players react to being directly criticised.
Now here's where he moves away from facts and into assumptions, beliefs or in this case, a vague, nothing statement without any support:
- Not sure Richmond are as keen as some have reported.
Classic. Chuck in some facts. Then close with a non-committal comment that serves his own agenda without actually offering any evidence to support it.
Just because a team ask a draftee a confronting question doesn't mean they aren't interested. Choco used to love asking questions to unsettle the boys.Typical hack journalism.

Richmond can GAGFI'm sure Richmond will be pleased with Collier-Dawkins' defensive running.... or lack thereof.
What a joke of a journalist Ralph is.
Well said.Yes Ralphy is quite a cracker.
Let me say Silvagni Agresta and Brodie have snared 3 young jet midfielder in one swoop. Walsh, Setterfield and Stocker and a new experienced forward attack Bugg, McGovern & Fasolo, reinforced the backline with Newman and Goddard. Brillant work by the recruiting team. They may not all come to fruition but it’s a mighty effort.
We we need sone luck and hope AR can spin his magic everything possibile has been in one solitary trade period. Great work SOS and team
Does anyone know what his results (speed, agility, YoYo etc) were like at the draft camp?
