In one sense it's a bit of a shame that he was involved in the pick trade, because that will dominate the focus on Liam for years.

Instead I will choose to appreciate him for what I hope will be a great career at Carlton.

He has good breakaway pace (especially the first few steps), a nice sidestep, is strong and has a very nice dual-sided kick.

Decent pace and skills, exactly what we need. Still has lots to work on, but I am keen to see what he can do (now and over time).

Looking forward to see him play, the best thing would be if he comes in and cements himself in the side, play well and make it tough to leave you out. Good to get some kicking and pace into this team, it's what it needs.

It will be nice to see someone who can roost is from the kickouts. Too often Simo or Daisy take the kick out run 10 m from the top of the square and get it 5m past the 50arc. ball then gets spoiled and we are back under immediate pressure.
