What a joke,
and I'm not laughing!

Yes we all know that Essendon is generally known has a power side,
so seeing them lose like this is hard to accept and understand,
but then again,they are a club in the AFL just like everyone else and of course,it's expected to lose and have a year in which the wooden spoon belongs to us after such a long time..

Now,
putting that a side,
138points is just a joke..not even Carlton lost by that margin..!
Most people are pointing the finger at Sheedy..as you would because he is the coach..head of the players on the field.

What changes do you think should be made at the club?

I personally will be sad when Sheeds go because he has done such a great job in his career at the club..and being 22 (23 next week! ) he has been the only coach at Essendon that I have ever seen..
but if it is the thing to do,and Essendon get new game plans etc,then it might be a good thing..unless the assistant coaches stick to the same game plan..

Some players need a good kick up the bum,
making silly decisions that will get the footy nowhere but back into the hands of the opposition time after time..some players need to go in hard to..footy isnt netball (although the AFL is making it that way).

Hardly a joke. Its reality.
Your coach is a joke. Maybe he should of taken note of Terry Wallace after all.
He has kept players on his list that arent any good, fact no joke.

In all my years of watching Footy, sure we have coped a few hiding, normally in Adelaide, but still last night was the worst performance I have ever seen, I know this group have talent which makes the following hard to write but that was the most P-ss weakest effort I have ever seen, they were soft at the ball, next to no second efforts, the skill level was woeful, and while I love the Club to death, that was just unacceptable, the lack of intend was pathetic, and while other Clubs would be wise not to get to excited by our plight, but that was just down right unacceptable, sure everyone can have a bad day, but that was just way below the belt.

I trust I will never see such a lay down effort like that again, its just not good enough, no we shouldn't sack Sheeds, and we only need several Players whom have just failed to stand up, finally do so, also with smart drafting, we have a good group who can and will return to the top, and then we will gladly repay on all whom are having fun at our expense.
