Official Match Thread Season 39 Round 8 - Roys FFC vs Sin City Swamprats at Renown Park [MOTR]

It has been a horror season thus far for the Swamprats, losing their best player in the off-season and failing to put together much threat up forward. Thanfully, lead by their captain, the backline has held strong at times, and if they win this week they will still remain in finals contention. Looking to put an end to that are the hottest team in qootball, the Roys. Track-watchers at their Attenboro base have been quick to point out the flair of this new-look outfit, and that sure has come to light in the early rounds of the season. Fast kicking, lots of jumping, and offset shoulders are the hallmarks of the style that is taking the qootballing world by storm. Can the incredible height of the Pondrats counter this strategic suite??



@Jackster85 definitely hopes so, coming off the bench and saying lots of really nice things, it might be something for the Roys to think about putting time into. But all eyes will be on MP_ in their big milestone game. Can they kick their first goal for the season to celebrate the historic day?

It is hard to see this one getting away from the Royz, but we will be hoping for a close game in a season that has boasted more 50+ point margins to this point than any other.

Fair enough. Not sure what I was thinking but I was suddenly inspired to make an old fashioned rabbit stew. Hearty, rustic, soul food, taking me back in time. A big disappointment in reality. Which is good for the rabbits out there.
