Hang on I'm convinced D one is bot,
Crows average attendance: 30,000+
Powers average 22,000+
Total attendance to date
Crows: 511,000+
Power: 376,000+
The port sit's on the bottom of the ladder only ahead of the expansion teams in terms of attendance.
Port is the only non expansion team not to crack 400K in attendance.
Port haven't got over 30,000 to a home game not in involving the crows
The crows have only had 1 crowd that was less then 30,000
The highest attended game at AAMI this year not featuring the crows: 26,000+ vs the hawks
The highest attended game at AAMI this year not featuring port: 44,000+ vs the collingwood
Like for like:
Saint kilda vs port at AAMI staduim: 21,000+
Saint kilda vs crows at AAMI staduim: 36,000+
Games at AAMI stadium with attendance's over 25,000 excluding games against each other
Port: 1
Crows: 7
And your trying to say the crows numbers are shit?
Adelaide is propping up your shit stain of a club!

I just find it.amusing that when you don't understand something you cry "liar". Much like the simpletons in the Middle Ages who did not understand science, and cried "Witchcraft"..........
If I use median-1.5xIRQ to define an outlier, then the attendence figure is considered an outlier, ie an anomoly.
Since the actual value for GWS does not lie outside method a) there is no need to calculate method b).
Lets look at Port after all this thread is about a club that is stealing revenue away from other clubs.
2012 thus far 21265
2011 21676
2010 23044
2009 24349
2008 23842
2007 27870
2006 27257
2005 32911 (Is the 2005 figure warning us about the impending 119?)
2004 29877
2003 31845
2002 31414
Need I go on? If you take a 31K figure as a rough average of "the good years" your figures have dropped ~10K since then.
I don't have to ask you why. It is because your own supporters are sick of the rubbish that they have to endure, and have had to endure for a long time.
With Primus at the helm, will 2013 be the year that your average drops under 20K or can it happen this year? Please note that last year the Gold Coast are credited with an average of 19K figure for home games. Can Port Power supporters troll their own club that much that they attract less crowd than Gold Coast last year? Round 21 against WCE and 22 against Bris need to be good to avoid embarrasing yourselves!
How come the Swans are top, playing in a reduced capacity stadium and still cant get sell outs?
I wonder how many of the 14k actually bought tickets? How many were give aways?
I saw two Freo supporters in town afterwards so there's 2 less Port supporters who went![]()
A lot of trails that lead nowhere apart from arriving back at poort getting shit crowds while Adelaide's are just fine.. If you want to defend 14000's, 17000's, or whatever - and attack 35000, 40000's or whatever, go right ahead and make everyone keep laughing at you..

Lmao now he's moved onto a new one.. I'm fryingpan now.. It was tried on everyone else, now it's my turnThanks Frying Pan but why are the Camry Crows going to average their third lowest crowd ever when they are top 4?
Lmao now he's moved onto a new one.. I'm fryingpan now.. It was tried on everyone else, now it's my turn
The paranoia is so delicious.. It really gets you going.. Why the **** are you calling me that when it's quite obvious i'm subaru? I mean Geoffa.. If you had any brains, you would have worked out by now that all of the user names on here are just the one person.. But then who actually am i if each one is just an alias of the other?

Viewed it all and chuckled plentyYes...you are ...but I'm not you ...am I ?
You are not as many aliases as I was.. I sat back and watched them flounder about for months ..... hilarious...oohh ooh Team DJ - you're Subaru Ooooh ooh Sparky - you're Subaru - ooh ooh Viking Blood you're Subaru Oooh Oooh Thaigreencurry - you're Subaru and on and on and on it went.
Viewed it all and chuckled plenty
No wonder their tin foil hats are on for everything involving port, permanently attached it seems..
I know of a few people that have posted here and had the same accusations hurled at them and they're like wtf![]()
But it's not irrelevant, you brought it up.. You care..OK whoever you were, that's irrelevant.
Now, why are the Camry Crows going to average their third lowest crowd despite most likely finishing in the top 4?
Finals?Might want to hold your breathe on that claim... got some low drawing fixtures coming up:
- Essendon on Sunday night.
- Fremantle on Saturday arvo.
- GCS... TBA.
Need to average ~36k for each of those games to lay claim to "raising attendances"... not going to happen.
But it's not irrelevant, you brought it up.. You care..
I would tell you how it is but it's too funny watching you think everyone is someone else and that no more than what - 3 people? - would use a forum such as this.. Besides, wasn't drakescoffeecake meant to be frying pan?
I really don't care if it will be our 3rd lowest, 10th lowest, 100th lowest.. It's by a marginal number.. If we average 37000 and last year we averaged 37001, shit this year is now our 3rd lowest, oh noooooooo.. We get 35000 plus to games, not 14000 and 20000 on a good day.. How embarrassing to watch the port game the other day and see nothing but seats, all of those true believers standing tall![]()
But you used to average 42K during and average season. So why are the Camry Crows going to average their third lowest crowd despite most likely finishing in the top 4?

So to be 100% fair I looked at attendance figures for the 2004-2012 period. I averaged the years 2004 to 2009 for the AFL, Crows and Port. I used the AFL as a bellweather of the health of club crowds. Sort of like a CPI figure to compare clubs against.
In the 2010 period the Crows on field and off field dramas were well known, but the average attendance is about on par with the AFL, again
It can be clearly seen that in the 2004 to 2012 period the Crows had better than AFL average crowds, while Port had worse.
I compared the percentage change in Crowd numbers between the '04-'09 to the two year period in question. The AFL numbers were pretty steady with less than half a percent increase. The Crows in their woeful 2 years had a drop of 13.73%. As a comparison as a South Australian team Port Power had a decrease of 19.27% that is over 5% worse drop in crowd compared to the Crows.
To take into account the expansion teams I have looked at the 2012 AFL figure. The percentage drop in average home game attendances for the AFL is 10.5%. This is comparing the 2012 figure to the '04-'09 average. In contrast to the figure for the Crows comparing 2012 to '04-'09 is a drop of 10.24%. The Crows bettered the AFL percentage change accounting for expansion teams but a quarter of a percent. In contrast the Port Power figures demonstarate a 23% drop from baseline Crowd figures. This is a whole 13% worse than the AFL average percentage change, accounting for expansion teams.
When compared to the whole market the Crows crowds this year could be better, but are 3.5% improvement on the 2010-'11. The Port Power crowds are 4% worse than 2010-'11.
The Crows crowds have improved, accounting for expansion teams while Port Power continues to flail around like a Bay Cover in the Southerly wind.
No Crows fan has to justify crowd numbers to any Port Power fan. Your attendance is woeful due to the on field performance. Turn that around and your crowds will return, and give up the crap about loyal supporters.
Another lie/deception from you. If we take out the prior and during redevelopment our average is lower than 42K. If we look at that time frame for Port your average was around 31K which would make your numbers in my previous post look even worse.
If I use median-1.5xIRQ to define an outlier, then the attendence figure is considered an outlier, ie an anomoly.
How much longer will the AFC have to prop up the shit stain Power??
