Callum Mills

Callum Mills is one of the best young players in the AFL. The QBE Sydney Swans Academy graduate won the 2016 AFL Rising Star award and was selected in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 team in three of his four eligible years. Mills is a small defender with uncompromising courage who’s also capable of shifting through the midfield. The New South Welshman was elevated to Sydney’s leadership group during the 2018 pre-season at the age of just 21, and he’s now a member of a five-man leadership panel alongside co-captains Josh Kennedy, Luke Parker and Dane Rampe, as well as Lance Franklin.

Callum Mills
DOB: 02 April 1997
DEBUT: 2016
DRAFT: #3, 2015 National Draft
RECRUITED FROM: North Shore (NSW)

Drunk wrestling with your boss and he stacks it and ends up in surgery

Peanut
Yep, peanut is the perfect way to describe him.

Be honest fellas, how many of you have done something similar? Yeah he's paid big bucks and part of that payment is a responsibility to be careful of himself, but it's early off season, he's a young bloke that had had a beer or ten and sometimes shit happens....

already has achilles ankle problems

this year was proof he cant perform coming back underdone

wont have a full preseason

whatever apparently im over reacting to this but plenty of fun things out there

Damn. I guess he can still maintain fitness. And hopefully the fact he's recovering from the shoulder means he gets more time to rest the Achilles. Provided the shoulder doesn't have significant long term issues, this may not necessarily be the worst thing that could have happened. An extra couple of months recovery for the Achilles. Build up fitness early in the season and come back fully fit.

Fitness wont be a issue just the muscle and conditioning on that side would be severely diminished.

Atleast this is a massive wake up call to the squad. Horse has more ammo to give them some much needed tough love imo. We've had our down year after the gf. It's time to get to another level next season.

I guess my only reservation is that he missed the tail end of 2018? when he was ****ing around with a gridiron ball walking to a cafe. Hasn't learn't from his mistake and I wonder if this is partially why the statement seems so terse. Wonder if that injury also could be linked to the achilles problems he has?
