I really only remember the one poor disposal (trying to pinpoint Parish with a dinky one OTT) but yeah.

I remember an easy pass over on the medallion side became a 50-50 contest which we lost because his kick was loopy.

Had three bad kicks of which I would classify two as crucial - As I posted last week should be played before Gleeson and Dempsey - One thing Ashby added ( along with Hartley ) was competence in dealing with high balls.

Yes, delist a 20 year old who had shown good signs of becoming a good AFL player is brilliant thinking.

I'm a bit miffed he didn't get a more consistent crack at it over the journey but thems the breaks.

I fondly look back on a time where I had him at level pegging with Gleeson, if not slightly ahead of him.

Just another example of how poor skills won't cut it at AFL level. Certainly didn't lack in talent he reads the play well but skills aren't up to it

Loved his mongrel attitude but lacked the skills and decisio9n making needed at the highest level.

Hope he gets a chance elsewhere and wish him all the best.

That would be a good idea and who knows in two or three years he might develop into a player that can be redrafted.
