Think he will be in demand. Think Easton Wood and that’s what clubs will be thinking of with him. Best spot is HB but he is great athletically and could play a lot taller. Smart, composed, good hands, has some speed and makes really good decisions with the ball. Very good user. Love him to drop to Collingwood. Love Oakleigh kids!


Who else – Daniel Venables would be a terrific addition to their midfield and you would think SPP would also be someone they would like.

SEN guy had him at 14. Can play fwd, mid, back. Described as one of the few elite kicks in the draft. Was injured second half of the year, hence why he wasn't ranked higher.

You guys realise the Fox Rankings are basically like Supercoach right? He was rated a first/second round prospect by a lot of experts. In fact, pretty much everybody taken after him so far has been rated 50+.

Late DOB means he probably has more cms in him. Hes already as tall if not taller than Battle but can actually mark and is also arguable the best kick in the draft.

His entire highlights package in the draft machine is goal kicking, he won the kicking contest, he's a reasonable size and he's billed variously as a defender or a utility (so he probably has the all important defensive mindset and could be one of our traditional send-'em-forward type defenders).

I think he might actually be precisely what we were looking for.
