Great pickup. Such a solid citizen, has a skillset we need, and is physically carved from stone. Had something like 135 consecutive games in a streak at one point, and just shows up every week.

He's the reason we cleared cap space, why we let TDK walk - to be able to add good role players for depth and to upgrade the quality of play across the ground, and makes us a better team in 2026.

To be serious he is a cracking club guy, a nice bloke, good family and can play.

My opinion, and just mine, is we gave him far too long on the last contract. He is solid, has flashes of A Grade footy but is so frustrating when he produces C Grade stuff.

He compliments a great team effort, he struggles to add to or carry a poor team effort.

He will be a very solid servant and I absolutely wish him all the success he can have. He was a favourite of mine but definitley fell out of form, just form, last year. Maybe overly blamed by Cox and was made an example of in some ways but has plenty to offer.

Cheap deal for you guys (face it he was really a part of the Curnow deal and not seperate) but is "expendable" and won't make "the difference" to us. I trust and hope a new start brings out the best of him.

I will watch him with interest. Will frustrate and excite you guys. I hope more of the last for you.

Sounds like it might be a matter of bridging the gap between his best and worst, but when he's on, he can absolutely play.

Three players wanted out for $$, sun, surf whatever. We’ve made the best of what was considered a bad situation.

GW and Austin have done a fantastic job getting players like Florent, Hayward, Ainsworth, Chesser, Reidy and in the process ending up with 6 first round selections in the next three drafts.

We might even manage a B in the trade ratings... :D

Pretty much this. Generally a solid to good player who plays the occasional brilliant game.

Throw him on a wing or at half back and back him there and he'll surprise a lot of people.

Both he and Hayward will reach 300 games with you.

First time I've posted on another team's board, so I come in peace. Just wanted to pop over and let you know that Ollie and Wilbur will serve your club well...i actually named my cat after Ollie so a bit sad to see him go.
