Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Good to get a comfortable win any way it comes. Thought the first half was enjoyable but the last quarter was pretty dire. We missed a few and the scoreline flattered them a bit.
Bit confused by some sooking about the quality of the game from the very first bounce given the conditions. The wind was diabolical at ground level.
Thought Blakey was excellent and showed why he's great off half back if he can just break even in his defensive role and he did more than that tonight.
Grundy was superb again and Heeney and Gulden were very good in patches.
I really liked Rowbottom's start in the forward line and hopefully Cox let's him spend more time there in the run home. Likewise I thought Dattoli started brightly. Came in and out of the game but had some really nice touches so hopefully he keeps his spot for a block of games.
Campbell and JMac also got themselves involved. The defense as a whole had a strong game and Rampe showed why he's still really important.
Would have been nice to really put them to the sword and I know some love to focus only on the negative but a win is a win when you've had a dire a season as we have. Hopefully we turn it up a notch next week.

Zero centre bounce attendance tonight for Rowie.About the only thing I’ll be interested in is the centre bounce stats.
Not sure Gus or Rowy attended many at all.
I’m not quite sure what Cox’s logic is.
I personally hate seeing Errol, Papley and McI at centre bounce.
No it didn't. I thought we would flog them. This was pathetic. It always promised to be a disappointing game. And it didn't under-deliver.
Think he was clearly trying something different with Rowy forward tonight.About the only thing I’ll be interested in is the centre bounce stats.

Well said, was an absolute shocker. It always promised to be a disappointing game. And it didn't under-deliver.
I am watching Pies v Lion's. We are nowhere near these teams. I think if we had played either today we would have lost by 100-150 points.
We need to realise just how bad we are. We could not give a side with an average games played level of 40 games a flogging. We almost lost for ****'s sake.
What in the name of Wills is Cox trying to do? Because whatever it is, it isn't working. The players look tentative. They don't seem to know what to do. We are totally disorganized. On several occasions I saw players trying to hit up a lead but there were none. It was as though they were hoping to get a lead but if they didn't they just bombed.
We wanted so many forward entries on long kicks that just gave them an advantage and they cleared. We used to be one of the highest scoring teams in the VFL bur now we are one of the lowest scoring teams. Figure that out. I know we have been missing forwards, but we had many good small forwards today and in general ignored then on the lead.
Blakey should be a mid or on the wing.JJ lot's of CBA's exact same as Merrett infact. Wasn't paying attention to that matchup but assume they were playing on each other and JJ gave him a bath.
We were also clearly experimenting with a few things to so that has to be noted in the performance. Sheldrick and Rowbottom particular, given what Sheldrick mentioned in the article about him guessing they are trying to find some flexibility in those guys games. Sheldrick still found some ball, Rowbottom looked ok forward early but missed his chances and then faded out of the game.
Blakey noticeably less deep today, don't know whether that was a tactic or coincidence to keep him more at true HB, but either way he looks so much better up higher, so hope it becomes a more permanent thing in 26. Don't let the oppo dictate and drag him back.
They couldn't win a raffle if they had all the tickets. Worst Swans team since the late 80's early '90's.TheSorry.
Cox & the coaching group have no idea. This lot are not winning much in the next 5 years.
Clean out needed.

If we continue like this we will be lucky to win a game next year
Embarassing melt this one. They couldn't win a raffle if they had all the tickets. Worst Swans team since the late 80's early '90's.

He looked pissed off at 3/4 time. Shaking his head after the team huddle.Lost the last quarter dont think Cox will be to pleased

The team that will win at least 11 games is worse than the side that won 1 game and 3 spoons in a row?
Yep even in a poor year by our standards we will still finish with 11+ wins not a complete rabble like North/Eagles
I thought our use inside 50 was fine, especially when you consider the conditions. 19 to 4 marks inside 50, absolute gulf in quality.Blakey should be a mid or on the wing.
I can't believe how little we score. All because we deliver so badly. We either get flogged in the mids or we win but don't do enough. Today in the first half we were in the former but after half time we were in the latter class. It was as though our mids decided WE HAVE DONE ENOUGH.
I am wondering about this defensiveness Coxy always is rabbiting on about? He says he wants to improve our defensive game. But if that is the case why totally ignore our offensive game. Sure, teams strong in defence have won all the latest Premierships. But the reality is they also have very strong offences.
Not saying the sides splendid, some ****ing guys out there who are lazy at times or floggish . However if we hadn't had such a shit run of injury we make the 8 this year sides still decent at worst
Publicly but not privately. He will excuse it
