The Irony is that McCartin is probably one of our least well equiped backs to play forward. It was such a strange call. Very happy to see it has been reversed. You people go on about Hambling back , but to me he's a tall Utility that can fill a need either end and a much better choice than McCartin

I agree. Absolutely nothing to do with Dawson. He was already gone in October. Hewett was basically told he was not neededNothing to do with Dawson
And how good would he be now !I agree. Absolutely nothing to do with Dawson. He was already gone in October. Hewett was basically told he was not needed

More like their offseason was shocking and lost the depth in the 16-26th best players on their list alongside Kelly Cogs and Ward becoming washed and suddenly the side is shocking.Phil Davis when asked by poindexter on SEN about the poor form of GWS and he said one of the reasons was that they hadn't been sleeping in their own beds !
Thanks rubba for all the disagreements
I do rate the coach very highly though .It's a worry those 3 didn't washMore like their offseason was shocking and lost the depth in the 16-26th best players on their list alongside Kelly Cogs and Ward becoming washed and suddenly the side is shocking.
In a way they have lost 6 top 10 players on their list

He is bad when needed and good when not. He only came alive when GWS were like a 5% chance of winning it but when they were needing a spark in the full game against the Crows he was terribleJust wonder and I know he was decent against us, but how much of a distraction Stringer has been? The soap opera with him has followed him club after club. Is it any surprise all the clubs he's left have improved? I'm not saying either way but I just wonder.

Oh you dont agree…Sir Bedford Esquire… no prob lets have more clumsy Melican-like loose arms maybe go for broke - use coat-hangers insteadClumsy and brainless … ok maybe a poor last second response mechanism but you have to think a bit quicker and know by now that a loose arm that will connect head high is to be … avoided
No some on this forum ARE STILL in the eighties I think ..no need to name names or a name lol?? Ill acknowledge the game now is necessarily protective of players but theres little leeway for non-intentional error these days.. games gone a bit too soft… what do you think. He still can't stick an arm out and collect him on the way past.. it's not the 80s any more.
I agree at the end , there is no consideration to incidental contact , that was maybe clumsy but he's running at the ball 1 week and Curtis 1 weekNo some on this forum ARE STILL in the eighties I think ..no need to name names or a name lol??
