May 3, 2025: Sir Dane Rampe is cooked. Needs to go teach guys how to play in the VFL. Retire at year end.

May 5, 2025: Sir Dane Rampe is superb. Needs to continue to teach guys how to play in the AFL. Extend.

Ah how I love Bigfooty. Never change.

I think he should retire at the end of the year still personally

April 17, 2025: Ollie Florent has been terrible and won't turn it around. He should be dropped.

May 5, 2025: Ollie Florent has turned it around, but other players will definitely NOT turn it around and should be dropped.

The saying “ you are only as good as your last game” comes to mind.
He has been terrible & concerning. Not so much for his play but I thought we really lacked leadership with the 12 unanswered goals against GC.
That was his last game before May3rd.
Spot on, he's been dreadful, but like the outstanding leader he's been for us for several years, he responded wonderfully when we needed him too.

VERY lucky. Take it and run as fast as we can!

Hey on the positive out clown lawyer doesn’t have to try at the tribunal lol

So Hamling back to defense for 3 weeks. Do we go Ladhams/Buller or go smaller?

I’d go small and bring Hanily back in kicked 3 in the reserves at least this week the week after who knows. Wouldn’t be against Buller if they go that way either

Melican suspension is a big blow. More for the changes it might make to our forward structure, finally got a setup that we could've used as a stopgap until a few reinforcements came.
Hamling can cover down back for a few weeks, but up front I really hope we don't go back to the 3 ruck structure.

I really detest that structure and don't think it's sustainable for a 3 game patch where we need to probably take 2 wins to keep the season alive. Neither Ladhams or Grundy has the 2nd forward hole for an extended period....and McLean is a much better player when he's the 2nd ruck, his form suffers when he's not.
Understand the conundrum for Cox though because Ladhams is easily the best performing KP in the ressies....but, he doesn't suit what we need for structure.....wonder if we can go with Buller for a patch or keep Hamling forward and try an Edwards or Snell for 3 weeks? Not against going smaller up forward and use a Heeney a pseudo key forward for longer periods (if we can trust the mids without him)

Take the three weeks and run, at least he'll be fresh against the crows

Yep as soon as he was subbed out was always going to be at least 3, don’t love it but that’s the way it’s been for over 2 years. Not a dirty player just a bad error in judgement that’s all unlucky that’s all. He gets a rest which isn’t a bad thing anyway

My post has been liked by somebody called Chad Sheldrick.

This is momentous!

Gus in, Heeney forward, Hamling back.

Problem solved (as best as it can be).

I think Hamling and Francis worked wonders against the Giants.. Im not sure we need two key forwards tagging the bombers key defenders, so I reckon Hamling goes back and have no idea who plays forward.
Ive no faith (wish I did) in Buller
Im not a fan of Grundy, McLean and Ladhams - but may be the best option?

I would love to see..
Hamling stay forward and play as a tall forward rather than the role he played against the giants
Edwards make his debut in defence.. The half of last weeks VFL and other bits n pieces that Ive watched, Thought he was pretty good. 3 week stint in the AFL would be a good thing for him.

It might also depend on how Grundy is going, he didn't have a big impact around the ground but was still good in the ruck. It might force them to play Ladhams which I don't mind & shift Hamling into defence. Cox has a few different options...

Ladhams is in good form to be fair .

Could have been the biggest name in football and that action is 3+ as soon as there is a concussion as a result that’s the going rate
