When decimated by injuries and inconsistency, good teams continue to nut out wins to keep their season alive.

We needed this. And we need to get over the line in 2 of the next 3 - all teams around our position.

Didn't kick the straightest, and reamed by umps, but we got the 4 points and fought back in the last quarter when GWS got a sniff.

Cleary works his **** off defensively, he and Corey Warner probably wouldn’t both play if people were fit, think they both work hard, but I just like the Cleary running defensively.

Campbell runs hard just want him to get more of it and be in the guts more.

Melican is out for 3 weeks, so Hamling will need to go back, like Francis forward more than defence.

Blakey still looks way more dangerous up the ground imo, and impactful, in defence his efforts cost goals.

Roberts gets the ball well, got better as it went but his indecisive footy is costly at times, wish he would back himself more.

Pressure and intensity was fantastic in the second half, took away their link up play fairly well. Wicks was huge, really turning into a quality small defender. Chad's ground level game was so clean, rarely fumbled.

Juzzy's game I loved as well, had a few mistakes here and there but his attack on the footy and run was quality. Tmac's best game of the season too.

A lot to like today from a handful of role players as well, hope this is the gusty win we needed to get the ball rolling.
