A positive I noticed yesterday was even when Dumont is doing his best Ziebell impression and hack kicking it forward, he's having a split second look up, it's going +40m, in the correct direction, and toward a NM player even if it's contested.

GOOD SIGNS!
Being a solid bodied, slowish mid, having the ability to kick the ball properly is actually pretty handy.

To have a game high 15 contested possies, 10 tackles (3rd most and 1 off the equal most) and 7 clearances (2nd most and 1 off the most) in your 1st full game is very impressive. Looked like a player too.

Must play the entire season. Why has it taken so long for him to get a full game.

Back injury must have influenced his non-selection......Brad's that is. ;)

I really hope he plays the rest of the season. Totally agree with KangaRooster about the "hacking it forward" kicks actually having a bit of direction about them.

Looks like a Shinboner.

(5 weeks to get that embedded in him before the coach comes back and tries to censor it out)

I must say though, the way he leads with his head sometimes is a bit of a concern. You're no good to us in a wheelchair son.

Thats how i see it as well.

Cunners and JZ to rotate all game and keep fresh
+1. JZ looked stuffed in the last quarter. Dumont, Ben10 and JZ makes us very one paced late in games without sufficient rest.

Makes the sub decision even more baffling. We clearly needed run and pressure more than height.

Jack was rooted because he had to try and make up for the rest of the team throwing in the towel.

He was so strong in the contest and looking at his body shape it looks like he'll only get bigger and stronger. He could be an absolute monster in a couple of years time.

apparently he wasn't the fit we were after when we took him but he appeared to be a slider with to good a value to disregard.

Seeing the footage of his SANFLl GF game a couple of years ago gave me the impression he was a competitive animal.
