Reminds me of a younger Cunnington, has all the natural ability and will benefit greatly from a couple more AFL pre-seasons.

We need to draft a couple more genuine mids this year.

Pffft. Supergav by a mile. Speaking of miles, yesterday we missed him out there - when kicking with the wind we could have got him doing kick ins from full back. Would have gone straight straight through for a goal down the other end (of course he would have been trying to spot up a player 40m away, but yeah, that Supergav for ya).
What would be the chance of getting supergav back as a muture are recruit. After all hes still younger than boomer?

Froggys decision making for me seems to set up his effective disposals. Seems to have a very good handle on how much time he has.

On top of that he's strong. One or two more Preseasons and it'll all be solid muscle, looks like a bit of puppy fat there still. And he's not as slow as I thought either, in a few of the times where he chased a player they very rarely spaced him.

Changing direction though he is very slow. Lucky his footy brain will compensate for this.

Noticed this too in his two chases on Wellingham, someone I'd consider relatively quick.

Has frustrated me when over the last 2 years that people have even mentioned that he is slow. He just isn't that agile.

He is significantly quicker than Swallow and Cunnington. Probably just as fast as Jmac + Bastinac in a straight line.

JMac would be a fair bit quicker I reckon, but yeah, Basti is about the same as him. Similar skill sets too but Dumont is a bull in comparison. He should play the rest of the year.

He didn't catch Wellingham as such yesterday, Wellingham had to pull up because he had no immediate options.

He reminds me of the ol' QE2 that used to play for us. Pretty slow, builds up to a solid pace but the turning circle of a cruise liner.

Would say that Basti shades him for pace but Dumont seems to have a better read of the play from limited viewing of him.

apparently he wasn't the fit we were after when we took him but he appeared to be a slider with to good a value to disregard.

Seeing the footage of his SANFLl GF game a couple of years ago gave me the impression he was a competitive animal.
That was the 2013 SANFL Granny, he was best on for mine, just got pipped for the medal....hopefully nothing comes of the court case
