Good omens there. I note that both his two previous milestone games have been victories. The crystals have spoken!!!

So, so important. Forget how many times he touched the footy. He does all the stuff off the ball that genuinely makes an enormous difference.

What a difference it makes having a wingman who isn't playing their 7th game. Heroic s**t today on Phillips

Yep. Can't underestimate the fact that he woulda been blowing too considering his injury has restricted his running and Noble said he's back earlier than they wanted him in. I mean, I know people want that extra compo pick at ~21, but I'd honestly rather keep Frog. Still 25, almost 26, he can still play a huge role in our future.

Absolutely should be a part of the future!

Dumont came in and made a huge difference straight away. We are starting to get players on the field that we have desperatley missed. Good to have him back.

Starting? Dumont is the first so yeah it’s a start I guess. The others are still weeks away. But today was the first game we have not suffered an injury or two was it not? About bloody time!!!!

We also had Garner who was great today. We will get Taz back soon so getting Dumont and Garner in is a great start. No injuries as you so correctly stated is another great sign.

People want to trade him for something in the 20’s. No thanks.
I don't think many want to trade him - but he might have made his own decision and the question is whether to match the bid or not; when we're still going hard at the draft, it will be a tough decision. Personally, I wouldn't pay overs, good servant that he is

To me is the perfect player for a rebuild. Composed, two way runner who has mostly been durable. A pick in the 20s.. hmm nah it takes a long time to get them up to 100 games. If that pick was on offer for Atley- different story!!

I love him and want to keep him, but if he's made the decision to leave then there's only so much we can do to stop him. We're actually building decent midfield depth now, so if he does go it won't be as big of a loss as it might otherwise have been.

I hope he doesn't want out but the persistent Adelaide rumours, the talk of Essendon last year, and being dropped from the leadership group this year makes me think it's very much on the cards.

With all that said... It was bloody good to see him out there today! Two way gut running, a defensive mindset, and the lowering of the eyes heading forward are all things we've missed and that he has.

Really balanced out the midfield mix.
The extra senior body, with endurance allowed us to stay in the game for longer.
Stuck tackles, was well positioned - perhaps having him back allowed a few others to get more proactive - hence why a few of our better players had higher numbers than prior.
MacDonald back would be a similar boost.
