considering carlton themselves have famously walked jack martin to the PSD, they don't get to act like they're above that move. do it if they won't be reasonable

Why on earth would you basically say:
"Yeah we offered them a rubbish pick that there's no way they will want it"

Unfortunately for us you can't walk a contracted player to the PSD and Fisher is. contracted for 2 more years at the Blues. The thing is they might be pretty keen to free up the cap space so just have to let them sweat and not blink and it should get done for a F3 for points.

Welcome to North Dylan, hope your stay is long and fruitful for the club and yourself.

Any chance they use pick 25 to get Fisher?

North Melbourne general manager of football Todd Viney said the club was excited to secure the 22-year-old’s services.

"We are excited to welcome Dylan to Arden Street," Viney said.

"We’ve been tracking him for a while and believe he has some great attributes to add to our midfield with more opportunity at AFL level.

"He’s got some great athletic attributes, and we think he’ll complement our group enormously with his footy nous and professionalism."

North Melbourne now holds picks No. 2, 3, 15, 21 and 25 as well as one third-round selection in the 2023 AFL Draft, with six days remaining in the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.

Love this trade and think it works well and makes sense for both teams.

Best case scenario is something clicks for Stephens and he ends up translating his VFL and junior form into AFL form.

Worst case scenario is we have a some good depth on the wing who will perform well at VFL level and contribute to a competitive side at that level which will enable the youngsters to develop.

I think he starts on a wing Round 1 2024 and it's his position to lose.
