The past two weeks would be career best games for him.

Really impressed in the turn around in form.
His cat like efforts last year and poor ball use has almost entirely disappeared from his game and right now he’s playing good footy.

Give the man his flowers

Hey I'm the OG Stephens fanclub around here!
Enjoy the victory lap, but I never saw it and can’t see how anyone did.

The guy was a complete cat his first two seasons with us. Soft as absolute butter and I genuinely couldn’t see a way forward with him. Offered very little even from an outside perspective, always looked like a deer in the headlights.

He has completely turned it around in pretty much all those areas. Good on him.

I’m no Nostradamus, but Stephens was always a good kick and a good four-quarter runner. At the time we traded him in, those two of our most dire needs.

He squibbed a few contests since then but even at his worst I’ve never found him as flakey as say Sleevo or Spicer.

When we got him I thought he might play something like this. But I can't claim it because between then and now, I've ****ing abused the shit out of him. Such is Bigfooty life :/

Makes two of us. But a month of good footy doesn’t make a career. Just hope that this vein of form is going to be the standard rather than the exception.

Has built nicely as the season progressed.

Gone from a feline like campaigner to a tying down a wing and gut running all game.
Has a decent footy brain on him too and plays within himself.

Salut
Yep. You gots to hand it to Cat Stephens. Has been good this season thus far. Far less soft cocking it and is playing to his strengths. Salut Indeed. :stern look

If Dyl can share his transformation tips with Logue, Fisher and Daniel, and they improve in the 2nd half of the season we might get off 17th position on the ladder.

At this stage however we have 2 stat padders who can’t defend, and the other is just not fit enough to play a game of AFL.
