Not sure you can buy a can of confidence, or a bag of belief. Even a sack of success. So it sits with him, due to our continued lowly finishes, we have a few that while they're getting games, could soon go the way of Scott.
I don't want it to happen, I wish Dyldo all the success in the world, but that outcome has shortened into $1.06 at KangaBet.

He’s a lock for round 1
Him and Simpkin are our wingers

With fos rotating
You couldn’t call him a lock with any confidence. Polled well outside the top 10 in the best and fairest after playing every game. O’Sullivan and Simpkin the obvious competition. I’d expect Powell to play more outside this year as well.

This guy cops it a bit harshly on here imo.

He gets bundled in with a group of blokes who don't seem fair dinkum for various reasons but I reckon he largely plays a role well and can still improve.
Our players have a bit of history ignoring our wingmen when they are in a lot of space .
Polec was burned often.

Yep. One of our major weaknesses is the inability / unwillingness of our midfielders to run defensively.

Stephens is excellent (and an anomaly) in this regard.

If our midfielders played the same way as Stephen’s running back when we don’t have the ball, then we would not get belted as often (or by as much). He is so important getting back to provide that extra man and hopefully Jy plays like that as well in his new wing role. Main difference between the two of them is that Dylan can consistently kick a football and hit a target. On the flip side Jy is a lot harder at the contest and never shirks the physical stuff. Dylan can at times be a little “selective” in this area and placing his body on the line.

He has worked out far better than Flaky Fisher who we also got on a 4 year deal in the same year. Doubt he will play another AFL game and should be paid out.

So many cloggers still 😞😞😞

Which is why it hurts so much more when we trade more of them in. Bad enough dealing with home grown spuds and then you go getting ccj, daniels fisher types on long deals.

Our predicament is largely our own doing.

Yeah possibly.

Yeah he might knowwww where to go (which admittedly is a decent start) but would he even impact the contest if he were to get there?

What sort of impact?

Positive? Yeah I dunno, flip of the coin...

He is softer than 'Fruity' with none of the goal-sense, not a huge amount of pace and frighteningly, ZERO willingness to do anything resembling tough.

He can run and in space 90% of time use it at ~60% with a kicker - the automatic choosing of whatever the softest option is, which he does manage to calculate at Olympic Record pace.

A true genius imo.

Can run, but hardly provides any run and carry.

His kicking inside 50 and his accountability need to improve considerably.
I don’t understand his kicking inconsistencies, as he looks a technically good kick.

Yeah, drury's out for me (see what I did there?).

Have seen him play some decent football but again looked very disinterested on Friday and couldn't get near it.

Too many inconsistent games for my liking, combined with being allergic to contact really worries me.

It is the inconsistency that gets me apopolectic at times to continue your theme with ex players Waynesworld 😎

Every time I think of his positives, I'm always jarred out of it by that absolutely hilarious moment last year (against Colas, I think) where he shat himself to the degree that the material expelled landed in the pants of others around him as well. Gets the ball in the centre, sees someone coming at him, throws it on the boot. Fine. Only, he was facing the wing at the time, and that's where the ball went. We gained negative territory and I laughed and cried at the same time.

There's a spot for him, for reasons others have given. I don't mind him. But my God, there'd be 6 year old Auskickers braver than him
