• very slow off the mark to get up to speed, often beaten to the footy by direct opponents

Is good as a swingman/receiver role but wont find a lot of footy himself. Unless Clarko can get that mongrel in him.

We have a ton of players that can win the ball, and rarely someone to give it to. Sounds like he is just what we need.

I think we have said it before, but wing is not an easy role to get touches on. That's why they always fill the AA wing possy with a centre bounce midfielder. Wing play needs to be looked at in a different light.

Does he do the work off field?

Some of the blokes that we’ve traded for that were previous high picks had/have talent but off field they were lacking

completely agree, ahern was an interesting one, he did a bomb of work to recover from the knee, then killed it in his 1st game. then it seems he simply lost interest?

I have no doubt he will show plenty with us. Seen enough of him to be confident he will be more than a handy pick up, I remember he played up here Cairns a few years back and he looked great that night. The mates i were with who are mostly NRL supporters said to me who is that number 3 he goes pretty well. If he is given a bit more responsibility and a fair crack at it can really lift his game to another level in my opinion.

He does make some risky/careless decisions by hand in this clip with a few hospital handballs. Long time ago and hopefully he doesn't have that in his game now.

Sydney are most certainly not happy he's leaving ffs.

Very sporadically. He hasn't shown that same top end speed very often at AFL level.
