Who would you replace him with then?
i think Langford would be the natural option.
HF/Mid capability. Good kick for goal.
Can mark (handy cos we like to kick to forwards, regardless of size).

Langford is a bit taller at 190cm~, but he's pretty agile.

Tippa Daniher Langford
Fantasia Hooker Stewart

Not too bad.

10 go

10 goals his last 5
The first 4 rounds he was still getting fully match fit.
He doesn't look like a footy player but he is doing something right.
Kevin Walsh didn't look one, was ungainly but turned out to be a bloody integral part of our team.
Look at the time stamp.

Talking about Laverde replacing either Green or Stanton when he's fit is one thing, discussing Green and Stanton and whether Mutch or Langford should have played is quite another, especially when Mutch or Langford couldn't have replaced Kelly down back anyway, and therefore the conversation is really about Parish being replaced by Howlett! That's a lot of players that aren't Laverde being discussed in the Laverde thread...

They have their own player threads for discussion about them, and talking about team selections in general can go in one of the other threads that is intended for that kind of discussion (the preview thread or the team selections thread particularly).

Oh and fodzilla, I bumped this thread with an injury update, that's why a couple of old posts have been quoted. :p
